Two Pound Planet - Sinister Sun
from the Alternative Records ep " Whispering Delicious" - 1993

From Winston-Salem Two Pound Planet (previously known as Urban Edge) played straight up power-pop and played it well. Years of constant touring made the band very successful with fans, but for some reason the band never found a home at on a major label. Following this release the band splintered. Jerry Chapman (the bass player) formed the very successful Life In General and more recently a solo career. The rest of the band went on to form the 80's tribute band The Breakfast Club which played ALL over the southeast.

Band Members:
Jerry Finley - Drums, Vocals
Jerry Chapman - Bass, Vocals
Jason Buss - Keyboards, Guitar, Vocals
Tom Shaw - Guitar, Vocals
