Insurgence - Pull-Toy - 1990
from the self-titled cassette

Raleigh's Insurgence lasted from the mid-80's well into the 90's (and could still be together for all I know). Led by Bill Daly the band went through several lineup changes through the years. For my money though this is where the stars aligned and influences collided to deliver a solid 6 song ep. From Roberto (Berto) Morales' rugged vocals and fierce guitar work to Bill Daly's solid bass lines and lyrical prowess. Bill Daly now lives in Washington DC and runs Crooked Beat Records with his wife Helen. Brian Carithers is the head chef at Front Street Grill at Stillwater in Beaufort, NC.

Band Members:
Bill Daly - Bass, Vocals
Roberto Morales - Guitars, Lead Vocals
Jeff Bunner - Guitar, Vocals
Brian "Angus" Carithers - Drums

Hi. Insurgence are planning on releasing a new album sometime in 2007. Bill Daly and Roberto Morales have a lot of new songs. Bill is in DC running Crooked Beat Records and Berto is in Raleigh NC. Also the tape that is mentioned here will be put out on cd with extra songs from that period of 1987-90.
